Anyone who is remotely into makeup should know that a beautiful makeup is rarely accomplished without the correct brushes

If you are obsessed with brushes like me, you would have some point come across these babies, the holy grail of Makeup Brushes, made in japan like all things amazing are:

Hakuhodo: The ‘big daddy’ of all makeup brushes, these guys put MAC brushes to shame and make them look like cheap chinese imports,

These guys are not only super soft but they are superior for many reasons, here are a few in a nut shell:

- Excellent hair quality, sourced from blue squirrels, blended with superior synthetic fibres to achieve the softest feel at each touch
- Ferrules: they come in many form, some are 24k gold plated, others are ebony, in a nut shell, depending on your taste, the cost will vary depending on how much you spend
- ALL brushes are HAND MADE!
- ALL hair fibres are in their natural alignment which; unlike laser cut brushes; offer a much more smooth flow and feel to the bristles

Downside: Like anything beautiful and decent, the price tag is definitely up there. Expect to pay up to $500 USD for a set of 8 brushes…yeh, that’s right, but they are definitely worth it!
